All work shown is my own and done on a wide variety of cameras and lenses. Typically I use Canon, Lensbaby, Mamiya, Leica, Agfa, and Nikon products for my work.
Am a photographer and mixed media artist originally from Northern Illinois, that has been making some form of art since childhood. Interested in many mediums, but prefer to make photographs at the moment. My work tends to follow different paths along the way. Lately I have been doing studies in reflection both visually and emotionally.
Over the years my work has been hung in several group shows at such venues as the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, The Arc Gallery in Chicago, The Chicago Cultural Center, The Janis Mason Museum, Murray State University Gallery, The Murray Art Guild Gallery, Murray Convention Center, and Fidalgo Bay Coffee. Have had solo shows at The Murray Art Guild and at The Studio of Arthur Hand. Am looking to expand to other locations for showing my work. As of 2014 My first series of self-portraits were shown in Murray, Ky with a the help of a grant award from the Kentucky Foundation For Women.
For several years I gave up making any form of art. That time was spent reflecting on my life and making some much needed changes. Now I am back making art again with a fresh perspective and renewed energy. Look for my new series about the Ohio river and another project called "Show Me Your Guns". 2016 will bring a group show to the Janis Mason Museum in Cadiz, Kentucky of about 80 international photographers of which I will have a piece in as well. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to represent my work etc. I am currently looking for new locations to show my work.
